William Bryck
President & CEO
William (Bill) Bryck is a business and real estate executive with over 30 years of experience leading successful organizations in real estate development and achieving strong operational and financial growth.
Appointed President & CEO of Build Toronto by the company’s Board of Directors in 2013, Bill is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the company, with a mandate to generate value and City-Building results through the strategic utilization of City real estate.
In his previous role, Bill was the President & CEO of Parc Downsview Park Inc. (PDP), a federal Crown corporation charged with developing the former Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Toronto into a unique urban recreational green space. Bill led the vision for a 572-acre sustainable community that integrates extensive residential and commercial uses with a 200-acre national urban park.
Prior to PDP, Bill was the Acting Vice Principal of Operations and Finance at Queen’s University, overseeing the operating budget and various capital programs. Bill was also the President of CB Richard Ellis Management Services, where he founded and provided leadership and strategic direction for a portfolio that grew to over 4,000 locations and 38 million square feet, delivering facility, property and project management services. Before that, Bill was President of O&Y Enterprise Commercial, Vice President of Finance of Enterprise Property Group and Controller at Markborough Properties Limited.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University, is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and a member of CPA Canada.

Jaspreet Hansra-Kulasingam
Chief Financial Officer
Jaspreet Hansra-Kulasingam is a seasoned executive with extensive real estate and finance experience.
As Chief Financial Officer, Jaspreet is responsible for the overall financial management of the Corporation, including finance, accounting, treasury, insurance, risk management and financial planning.
Before coming to Build Toronto, Jaspreet was the Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Assurance & Advisory practice, where she assisted clients in identifying and executing optimization initiatives for corporate strategy, organizational structure, processes, controls, and budget planning and analysis. Prior to Deloitte, Jaspreet was a Controller at Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (CAPREIT) and oversaw a residential portfolio of 79 properties, comprising 12,500 units across Toronto and Eastern Canada.
Before CAPREIT, Jaspreet was Director of Finance at Revera Inc. (formerly Retirement Residents REIT), where she focused on finance transformation activities while effectively representing stakeholder interests to better align and support business objectives.
Jaspreet is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. She completed her Bachelor of Arts Honours Chartered Accountancy Studies and Masters of Accounting at the University of Waterloo.

Don Logie
Senior Vice President, Development & Investments
Don Logie is a senior real estate executive with extensive experience in the development and operation of commercial, industrial and residential real estate with particular emphasis on mixed-use developments. Don has been involved in the development and asset management of over 3,000 residential units and more than 20 million sq. ft. of retail and office developments.
As Senior Vice President, Development and Investments, Don is responsible for directing the development and transactions on all properties from identification of innovative and marketable concepts through the implementation phases of planning, marketing, leasing, sales and/or and construction.
In 2008 Don was Acting President & CEO as well as Vice President, Development for the City of Toronto Economic Development Corporation (TEDCO) overseeing the restructuring of City real estate and economic development functions into two new corporations. Prior to TEDCO, Don was the Global Head of Real Estate for Magna International where he managed 400 properties around the world; he also performed development and asset management roles at O&Y Enterprise, Brookfield Properties and Markborough Properties Inc. His international experience includes work in the United States, Europe, Mexico, the United Kingdom, China, Africa and the Middle East.
Don is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario and of the International Conference of Shopping Centres. Don received his Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and his MBA, graduating on the Dean’s list, from the University of Toronto.

Steven J. Trumper
Senior Vice President, Legal & Administration
Steven Trumper is a senior corporate lawyer and business executive with extensive Canadian and international experience in private practice and in-house. He has a proven track record of providing leadership and judgement on complex legal and business issues, as well as integrating legal and business perspectives in order to develop strategic, innovative solutions.
A member of the Executive Management Team, reporting directly to the President & CEO, Steven is responsible for leading the legal, human resources and administrative functions within Build Toronto. His responsibilities include providing leadership on complex, multi-stakeholder transactions, delivering strategic business and legal advice to senior management, corporate risk management and compliance, managing outside counsel relationships, providing corporate governance support to the Board of Directors and advancing the company’s business and financial objectives.
Prior to joining Build Toronto in 2011, Steven had a distinguished 25-year career with Osler Hoskin & Harcourt, one of Canada’s leading business law firms involved in many of the largest, most complex corporate transactions in Canada and internationally. After his career with Osler Hoskin & Harcourt, he was Senior Counsel and Head of the Corporate Department at the Bermuda-based law firm of Marshall Diel & Myers. He managed the Corporate Department staff attorneys and support professionals while working on a wide variety of sophisticated cross-border international transactions.
Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and an LLB from Queen’s University where he is the former Chair of the Dean’s Advisory Council. He is a recent graduate of the ICD-Rotman, Directors Education Program and is a member of six professional associations including the Law Society of Canada, the Law Society of Hong Kong and the Bermuda Bar Association.
